Okay, this isn't a Mac question. It's an Adobe question. I'm hoping that it won't get deleted because of some kind of rules violation, and that somebody can answer it for me.
I'm using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on a Mac Mini (late 2014) with OS X 10.11.6, El Capitan.
Adobe keeps automatically updating itself. I have to keep using Time Machine to restore the old version. I can't find any way to turn off the automatic updates. I went through the help item in the Adobe menu and it instructed me to edit preferences in the updater section. There isn't any updater section in my preferences.
